Dr. Sibasis Bandyopadhyay was born in Asansol, Bardhaman (W), West Bengal on August 05-th, 1981. He did his B.Sc. in Mathematics Honors from Visva Bharati, Santiniketan in 2003. He  obtained his Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Visva Bharati in 2005. He qualified NET, conducted by CSIR in December, 2009. He was awarded the Ph. D. degree by Department of Mathematics, Visva Bharati, in 2016 under the supervision of Prof. Swapan Raha and Dr. Prasun Kumar Nayak. Title of his thesis was “A Study on Games with Uncertainty". After his Ph.D., Dr. Sibasis Bandyopadhyay worked with Prof Zbigniew Suraj, Chair of Computer Science, University of Rzeszow, Poland on Fuzzy Petri Net. He joined Department of computer science, University of Regina, Canada as Post-Doctoral fellow on 1st February, 2017 under the supervision of Prof JingTao Yao.  He also worked there as Sessional Lecturer. Dr. Sibasis Bandyopadhyay worked there up to 30th June, 2017. After that he suddenly had to come to India due to some family problem and joined IIT Indore as Research Associate-III. At present, he works as Research Associate-III in the Discipline of Mathematics, IIT Indore.
